Yep, my brother learned lot of these skills and has done very well for himself.
Folks are going to cry sexism, but it doesn’t mean girls shouldn’t learn some of these skills too, just that boys absolutely need to learn them so they can become men, whether they have families or not.
I sent it on to my 20+ year old kids to see what they think. Should provoke a good family discussion.

Excellent. I do offer criticism with the title’s term “teenager,” which includes females as well as males.
If I were to have a son or daughter, I would want each of them to have a foundation in all of these skills.
Their individual capabilities will of course vary, but to have no experience at all would signal to me that I was a failure as a father.
